The first quarter of 2024 has seen interesting trends in the consumer finance app market in Europe, with several apps showing notable performance on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the top five consumer finance applications, highlighting downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

Tricount - Split group bills started the quarter strong with downloads peaking at 60K in the first week, then fluctuating and rising again to 47K by the end of March. Revenue showed a similar trend with a high of nearly $1.4K in the first week, dipping to around $940 later, and stabilizing close to $970 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users saw a drop from 177K to 139K throughout the quarter.

Monzo - Mobile Banking maintained a steady download rate, starting at 42K and hitting a high of 47K by mid-quarter. The app's weekly active users remained impressive, with over 1.6M active users consistently, peaking at nearly 1.7M in the middle of January.

Splitwise showed a similar pattern in downloads, beginning at 53K and reaching 45K by March's end. Revenue for Splitwise started at $7.3K and rose to approximately $7.5K, with weekly active users fluctuating between 194K and 169K.

BoursoBank experienced a rollercoaster in downloads, seeing an initial 61K downloads, a dip to 19K, and a rebound to around 40K. Active users showed more stability, hovering around 850K, with a peak at 880K.

Ziraat Mobil downloads began at 40K, experienced minor fluctuations, and ended the quarter at around 36K. The app's weekly active users started at an impressive 3.2M, dipped slightly, and closed the quarter maintaining over 3.1M active users.
